Course Description:
This introduction program is for those who are interested in immersing themselves in a deep journey of life transformation and knowledge through Sound. It is designed specifically for those who would like to learn how to use sound for their own meditation practice as well as an offering in private and group settings for others.
The course will introduce the science, basic principles of vibration, the diverse healing applications from different cultures and an exploration of more modern techniques. The outline of the course will include philosophical lectures about Sound as well as the “how to” use & play different instruments in different settings. ( no musical background needed )
Learn the foundational concepts of sound from a scientific perspective as well as various spiritual paths.
Build a meditation practice with Michelle's guided techniques & exercises
Dive into Vedic ( Yogic & Buddhist principles ) philosophy in understanding energetic systems of the body as it applies when using sound
Refine your understanding and awareness of vibrational healing to serve individuals and groups
Learn the use and application of crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, chimes, handpan & frame drums in a therapeutic environment..
Learn different breath techniques accompanied with sound instruments.
Build an understanding of set, setting & intention in sharing sound with people.
About the facilitator:
Michelle has been teaching yoga, meditation and sound for 17 years. She has been leading teacher trainings in Miami since 2009.
She takes her education seriously and has completed two sound facilitator trainings herself and studied with a 5th generation sound monk in the Himalayas of Nepal. There she immersed herself into the Vedic lineage of using sound for meditation, chakra balancing, and over health and well being.
